Tayler Holder is being praised for his quick thinking that saved multiple animals’ lives.
In an Instagram post, the 28-year-old country singer and TikTok star shared a terrifying experience at his family’s farm. According to Holder, on Dec. 15, he walked out of his home and noticed a fire consuming his family’s barn.
Footage from the incident, included in Holder’s post, shows him, his girlfriend, Zoey Aune, and friend Zachary Aubuchon rushing to put out the blaze and save the animals trapped in the pen next to the fire, according to Parade.
“Yesterday was nothing short of a miracle, but God is SO SO good!! This was one of the scariest things I’ve ever walked out of my house [to],” Holder started the caption of the post.
“I thought we lost all of them, but luckily we caught it right as it happened and had so many amazing people around us to help,” he added. “All of the animals are okay and safe, and a HUGE thank you to Pleasant View Fire Department for being here within minutes 🙏🏼.”
The video of the nerve-wracking incident shows Holder, Aune, and Aubuchon sprinting toward the barn, which is spewing bright orange flames and thick, dark smoke. Once the group gets inside the barn, they start to extinguish the fire and rush to free the animals from the stall next to the flames.
Holder tries to break the barriers keeping the goats contained next to the fire, but after that takes too long, he decides to hop into the enclosure and lift the goats out of danger.
As his friend throws water on the flames, Holder hoists the goats up and over the stall to an area away from the fire.
In rescue footage, after all the goats are out of the dangerous stall, Holder jumps back over the fencing.

As Holder noted in his post, all the animals survived the fire without injury due to the local fire department’s rapid response and his and his friends’ quick thinking.
Commenters applauded Holder and the group, noting they “did whatever it took to keep [the animals] safe.”
