“Bringing Up Bates' ”Whitney and Zach Bates Welcome Baby No. 6, Sharing Candid Video from the 'Sweetest Birth Experience'

Whitney and Zach Bates are officially parents to six!

On Monday, April 27, the Bringing Up Bates alums announced they welcomed their sixth child, a baby girl, sharing a video of the delivery in a joint post on Instagram. The newly minted parents of six reflected on the entire experience, with the doting mom noting it was "one of the sweetest birth experiences I've had."

"One of the sweetest birth experiences I’ve had, filled with moments that I will relive a million times 😭💕🥹," the couple captioned their post. "Nothing in this world compares to that first moment holding your new baby, and from my very first birth when Dr. Vick helped him with Bradley, this has been one of the most precious, overwhelming and unforgettable experiences of my births, every single time."

"Dr Martin and her staff made every moment so special and we cannot thank them and Fort Sanders hospital enough for all of the work they did to make this birth so amazing!!!" they concluded.

Whitney, 32, and Zach, 37, are already parents to sons Bradley Gilvin, 11, Jadon Carl, 4, and daughters Kaci Lynn, 9, Khloé Eileen, 6, and Lily Jo, 2.

The parents first announced their pregnancy in September 2025 with an adorable Instagram video featuring all their children. In the clip, Zach and Whitney could be seen standing together until Bradley joined them. "Ya know what they say…one's company ✨, they wrote.

Then, Kaci ran over and gave Whitney a big hug. "Ya know what they say…three's a party 🎉," the text read as Khloé joined the family. "You know what they say…four's a circus," the text then noted. Jadon then raced in and jumped into Zach's arms. Zach lifted him over his head onto his shoulders. "Ya know what they say…five's a team ⚽️," the text then read while Lily toddled over.

Whitney picked up Lily, who was holding a series of sonogram images. "And six is a whole squad!" the text read. "✨ COMING SPRING 2026 ✨," the two wrote in their caption.

Around two months later, the couple revealed the baby's sex, announcing they were expecting their fourth daughter.

In their Instagram video, they included their youngest three children biting into a cupcake to reveal the inside icing. It was only when Khloé took her first bite that the excited parents learned of their baby girl.

The couple has included their children in several of the pregnancy milestones, including a visit to the doctor for Whitney's 20-week ultrasound.

In mid-December, Whitney documented the family's trip to the doctor in an Instagram video. "Halfway to meeting you, sweet girl 🥹😍 ," Whitney's caption began.

"Having all 5 of your siblings there with me and your dad was sooo special!! You are already so loved, and we are counting down the days to meet you!!! 🫶🏼 Thanking God you’re healthy and growing right now track!! May can’t come soon enough 💕."
