Casemiro has agreed a move to join Inter Miami, according to transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano.

The Brazil midfielder said farewell to Manchester United after four seasons after the Premier League club elected not to extend his contract.

Now the 34-year-old will move to MLS to link up with Lionel Messi, with Romano reporting a verbal agreement between all parties has been reached.

Casemiro’s arrival will further boost a side that won the MLS Cup in 2025 thanks in large part to Argentina legend Messi’s 29 goals in his third season with Miami.

This season, Miami sit second in the Eastern Conference with the competition paused for the World Cup. Messi already has 12 goals to his name.

Casemiro has started both games of Brazil’s World Cup campaign and played the entire match as the Selecao beat Haiti 3-0 on Friday.

Casemiro won the FA Cup and EFL Cup in his time with United, having won three LaLiga titles and five Champions League crowns in his decorated spell at Real Madrid.
