Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall are heading into another track and field season with big goals and glowing skin.

The Olympic long jumper and Paralympic sprinter— who first met at a high school track meet in 2017 — have built their relationship around showing up for each other on and off the track. Now the married gold medalists are teaming up with Clinique as the faces of The Unstoppable Together campaign.

The campaign highlights dynamic duos, spotlighting Clinique’s Moisture Surge 100H Auto-Replenishing Hydrator and Moisture Surge Active Glow Serum, two products designed to work better together, much like the athletes themselves.
When asked what truly defines a dynamic duo, Hunter tells PEOPLE: "Two people or things that have separate strengths, but they come together, and can do something bigger together."
“Being able to take care of your skin when it’s doing so much work for you is really important,” he adds. “But my knowledge comes from my beautiful wife. She is my esthetician.”
Tara says her interest in skincare started early. She was lucky to grow up with a mom who was interested in self-care and beauty, because it allowed her to develop an interest as well. "I grew up with Clinique in my house," she tells PEOPLE. "I would take Clinique, my mom's two-tone moisturizer in the little yellow bottle."

Now, Tara won't go anywhere — especially the track—without her Clinique Moisture Surge Lip Balm. She's also incorporated the new moisture surge products into her daily routine.

"I'll do [Clinique] Take the Day Off [Wipes] and then instantly go in with the Moisture Surge Hydration and then top it off with the serum, or the opposite, serum and then hydration," Tara says of her daily skincare routine. "It's all about layering. It's all about having an even applied product on my skin."

Then, she finishes off with an SPF—her go-to right now being from Tula—and a "big layer of lip gloss."

"I mean, my lips cannot be crusty when I'm on the medal podium or doing an interview with Lewis Johnson for NBC," she jokes. "I've done it too many times. I'm an adult now. We cannot let that happen."

Hunter has learned everything he knows about skincare from Tara, and even though he didn't grow up using Clinique, the partnership "just really made sense."

"It's such an example of what we do, like we're two separate people, but we work together to accomplish the goal and the dreams," he says. "Individually, it's a strong product, a person or a thing, but when you bring them both together, then it creates more upward mobility than you would have just on your own."

From the beginning of Tara and Hunter's relationship—even when they were long distance—the couple shares that they did everything they could to show up for one another.

"Whether we were driving on a train, on a plane, we would just put forward the effort to see each other, and that translated into our careers and our lives," Hunter says. "It's just being willing to take the extra step and I feel like sacrifice is a big, big word."

Speaking of sacrifice, Hunter has to put up with some of the skincare practices that Tara likes to do as a couple—such as face masks and picking at Hunter's pimples. "I like plucking his pimples," Tara says. "Messing with his skin is a favorite past time for me."

And although Hunter has to let Tara pick and pluck, she's also always there to help him with his morning moisturizer. Tara's daily “Did you put any moisturizer on?” is typically followed by Hunter asking, “Can you do it for me?” — and she's always happy to oblige.

Looking ahead, Tara and Hunter are excited about the upcoming track and field season, during which Hunter's goal is to become "the fastest man ever on blades, or the fastest man ever in general," according to Tara. And they plan on keeping up with their skincare and self-care routines through it all.

One of the biggest skincare lessons Hunter has learned from Tara is that skincare is actually an enjoyable and beneficial thing, even for men who tend to "deal with being uncomfortable."

"I just learned that it's called self-care for a reason, and when you practice self-care, your body actually appreciates it and you feel better about it," he shares.

Luckily, Tara is always there to lend him a hand.
