ZIM vs AUS, ODI Series: Broadcast, Live Streaming – When and where to watch in India, Australia, US & other countries

Zimbabwe and Australia are set to face each other in a three-match ODI series at the Harare Sports Club. The series begins on September 15, with the second ODI scheduled for September 18 and the third match to be played on September 20. All three games will start at 9:30 AM local time in Harare.

The series marks Australia’s return to Zimbabwe for an ODI after a 12-year gap. Mitchell Marsh is the only remaining member of Australia’s XI from their previous ODI in Zimbabwe, while Sikandar Raza and recalled veteran Brendan Taylor were part of the Zimbabwe side that won that encounter.

Australia reunite Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh at the top

Australia will welcome the return of Travis Head and Marsh to the top of their ODI batting order. However, there are still questions surrounding the rest of their lineup after Marnus Labuschagne was left out on form and Cooper Connolly is expected to move away from the opening position following his impressive 149 against Bangladesh.

Connolly remains one of the players with the most to gain from the series. His century in Mirpur has put him firmly in contention for a place in Australia’s first-choice World Cup squad, while his recent inclusion in the Test touring party for South Africa has also increased his opportunities across formats.

Australia will also use the series to assess their bowling options. Nathan Ellis and Xavier Bartlett could compete for a place as the fourth seamer, while Joel Davies may receive an opportunity as a spinning all-rounder after making an encouraging start in the T20I series against Bangladesh.

Zimbabwe recall veterans for Australia challenge

Zimbabwe have brought several experienced players back into their ODI setup as they look to challenge Australia. Taylor, Ryan Burl and Graeme Cremer have all returned, with their experience expected to strengthen a side that has already enjoyed notable victories against Australia in recent years.

Blessing Muzarabani will be one of Zimbabwe’s biggest threats with the ball. The fast bowler played a key role in Zimbabwe’s T20 World Cup victory over Australia earlier this year and has also been influential in their recent ODI series wins over Ireland and Bangladesh. Zimbabwe will, however, be without Richard Ngarava and Tanaka Chivanga due to injuries. Australia will also miss Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc, who have been rested ahead of the upcoming ODIs and Tests in South Africa.
