The actress has officially joined the cast of the project, marking her first Malayalam movie.The ‘Kantara’ actress was recently welcomed to the sets of ‘NP 51’ by Nivin Pauly and the film’s team. Her arrival was also marked by a small celebration linked to the success of ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’.

The film’s team also distributed boxes of Mysore Pak among the crew members. The sweet gesture was connected to an earlier celebration following the success of ‘BKU’.‘NP 51’ is being developed as a romantic comedy. The film brings Nivin Pauly and Rukmini Vasanth together as a new on-screen pair. The project is directed by Nashid Famy. He previously co-wrote Basil Joseph starrer ‘Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey’ with filmmaker Vipin Das.Details about the storyline and the rest of the cast have not been revealed yet.

Rukmini Vasanth had recently spoken highly of ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’, which stars Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju. The actress revealed that she watched the movie with her family, in a video shared by the team of ‘BKU’.Rukmini Vasanth said the movie kept her laughing throughout the screening. She also praised Girish’s direction and highlighted the contribution of the film’s music and performers. “I watched ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’ with my family. After watching the film, I couldn’t stop laughing. It was such a beautiful cinematic experience. I am a fan of Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju. Girish sir’s direction was excellent.The music in the film deserves special mention. Although I don’t know the names of everyone who worked on the film, everyone delivered their best performances.
