A comical incident in the middle of the Harare Sports Club ground as Ishan Kishan missed an easy run-out chance because of his casual approach. The batters on the crease for Zimbabwe also showed their lack of field awareness during the action.

However, at the end of the day, it was Ishan Kishan who missed an easy chance to dismiss a batter for run-out in the India vs Zimbabwe 2nd T20I match in the ongoing three-match series.

The fifth delivery of the 15th over of the second innings came to an end dramatically. Tadiwanashe Marumani, the batter who faced the Indian spinner Ravi Bishnoi for the delivery, completed a single while his batting partner, Newman Nyamhuri, charged down the ground for the second.

In the meantime, Newman Nyamhuri was running on the track for another run; Marumani was trying to stop him by waving his hands.

Ishan Kishan picked up the ball when the opposing batters were engaging in a huge mix-up. Ishan underarm-rolled the ball so slowly that it stopped rolling before reaching the palms of Ravi Bishnoi.

Despite the massive misunderstandings, both of the batters were safe after the end of the drama, and Ishan Kishan was standing still on the ground, right hand on head, in disbelief.

India missed the run-out, but not the match

The missed run-out opportunity, however, was not enough to take the momentum away from the Men in Blue. Holding on to the momentum, India won the match with ease, by a big margin of 90 runs. In reply to India’s first innings 219 runs.
