The Manila-born actress is perhaps best known by Hallmark fans as the face of Mrs. Claus in two popular films, 2004's Single Santa Seeks Mrs. Claus and 2005's Meet the Santas, in which she appeared alongside Steve Guttenberg, Crystal Bernard and John Wheeler.

Before she got her start on the small and big screens, Burrs studied at The College of William & Mary, moved to New York City and kicked off a career on stage and in commercials. After meeting husband Joseph Edward Bures, she relocated to California and kicked off a five-decade career in film and television, according to her obituary.

Her other onscreen work included roles on Young Sheldon, Mad Men, Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds, My Name Is Earl, Monk, Frasier, How I Met Your Mother, That's So Raven, Bones, That ’70s Show, Scrubs and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, among others.

In a second-season episode of It's Always Sunny, Burrs played Angie Spinola, the former high school girlfriend of Danny DeVito’s Frank.

The actress is survived by daughters Jennifer Martin and Diana Fuller; sons-in-law Douglas V. Martin and James Payne Fuller; grandsons Grant and Talon; brothers Fred (wife Judy) and Greg (wife Jayne) and sister Toni; and multiple nieces and nephews. Her longtime husband, Joe, died at age 83 in January 2020.

"Though she loved performing her favorite role was Mom — the one she cherished most," her obituary read. "She taught her kids that life was limitless, rules were optional, and you could do anything. She lived it, she meant it, and she passed it on like a family superpower."
