Backpack, the digital assets incubation studio and the team behind the popular Mad Lads non-fungible token collection, has teased a new non-fungible token project. This highly anticipated project is slated to be revealed this Friday. In response to this teaser, the Mad Lads has seen its floor price pumping from as low as 49.7 SOL to as high as 55.0 SOL, the highest since January 2025.

Backpack Teases A New Project
In a March 18 blog post, Backpack hinted at launching another non-fungible token project. In a short teaser, the digital asset company wrote, “The season are coming.” In a separate blog, the team wrote, “see you on Frida,y” and also shared a snapshot of a profile picture, which seemed to have been taken from the upcoming crypto project. This highly anticipated is scheduled to be revealed this Friday, March 21, 2025. Could it be an NFT game or another NFT collection?

Founded sometime in 2022, Backpack, “previously known as Coral,” is the Solana framework development company, which Armani Ferrante and Tristan Yver lead. This company runs a crypto platform that combines a self-custodial wallet and a centralized exchange, offering a comprehensive solution for managing, trading, and exploring Web3 assets like tokens, NFTs, and DeFi applications.
Backpack is also the brainchild behind the popular Mad Lads NFT collection. Launched in April 2023. Mad Lads is a non-fungible token collection featuring a limited edition of 10,000 animated profile pictures hosted on the Ethereum blockchain network. The PFPs NFTs come with unique clothing, weapons, and accessories, including rare biological attributes that depict celestial, robotic, and undead characters.

Mad Lads NFT floor price has reacted sharply to the recent bullish announcement. On March 18, 2025, the Mad Lads NFT floor price soared from as low as 49 SOL to as high as 55 SOL.
