Bhuvneshwar Kumar (1/20) made an instant impact on RCB debut, while Yash Dayal (2/18) and Liam Livingstone (2/28) ensured the pressure never eased. CSK’s strategy raised eyebrows as Sam Curran (8 off 13) was sent ahead of spin-hitter Shivam Dube, wasting valuable balls and adding to CSK’s misery. The early wickets left them chasing an improbable equation as RCB’s bowlers capitalized on the slow surface, never allowing CSK to build momentum.
