Returned and excess merchandise places enormous stress and additional costs on retail stores and distribution networks that are not optimized for the reverse flow of inventory. For many retailers, reselling this merchandise in bulk into the secondary market has become a more efficient solution.

However, the B2B resale market for returned, excess, and obsolete inventory remains highly fragmented – leading to inefficiencies, missed opportunities, and inconsistent outcomes.

To better understand the landscape associated with B2B resale, B-Stock conducted a survey to collect data on what channels retailers and brands are using to resell their returned and excess products, and the impact of those channels. Download the full report to explore key findings and insights.
