At the Gojan Cricket Ground ‘B’, Shaw appeared determined to build on that century. Resuming his overnight score of 47 off 57 balls against TNCA President’s XI, Shaw reached his half-century in style with a backfoot punch for three on the very first delivery of the day. He went on to share a crucial 94-run partnership with Harshal Kate, laying a strong foundation for Maharashtra’s reply.Shaw’s fluent 66 off 96 deliveries, decorated with crisp boundaries and positive intent, once again reminded of his natural attacking instincts. But just as Maharashtra looked comfortable at 155/2, Achyuth C V got him out to trigger a mini-collapse.
