NEED TO KNOW
- Braxton Keith ended his concert in Oklahoma early after fans were throwing beer in the crowd
- Before walking out, he addressed the audience and told them to “learn some concert etiquette”
- Keith also spoke out about beer-throwing at a show in April
Braxton Keith can no longer tolerate fans with poor concert etiquette.
In a TikTok video shared by a fan at the show on Aug. 22, Keith asked his band to stop playing and announced he would be cutting the show short.
“Yāall, I know that most of yāall are behaving yourselves tonight,” he said, per the fan video. “But thereās a bunch of people up here that are having a good time, and then thereās a bunch of beer-throwing.”
“Listen, I donāt come to any of yāallās jobs and do anything like that to yāall,ā he continued. āSo until yāall can learn some concert etiquette, my name is Braxton Keith. Thank yāall for coming out to Ardmore, Oklahoma, tonight.”
The “Chase You Down” singer then proceeded to walk off stage.
Keith spoke out about beer-throwing at a show in April ā and posted a video about it on TikTok.
In the video, beer cans are seen flying in the air and towards the stage as he performs “Honky Tonk City.” After one narrowly misses the country singer, he tells the band to “pause this s—.”
“Hey listen up,” Keith, 25, began. āI didnāt come here to get beer cans thrown at me, alright? This isnāt a goddamnĀ Gavin AdcockĀ concert, okay? Don’t be throwing f—ing beers out here. These people at the front are gettinā wet up here and itās gonna piss them off and itās gonna piss me off.”
He then pointed out a fan at her first country show and said he wanted her to have a good experience. “This little girl right hereās never been to a country concert before, and itās her first damn time, okay? Weāre gonna have a good show for her, okay?”
In the post’s caption, he pointed out the “unacceptable behavior.”
Unfortunately, this is not the first time fans throw objects onstage. In July 2024, Morgan WallenĀ wasĀ hit in the face by a fan’s phone during a concert in Denver. Months later, in November, Zach Bryan yelled at fans for throwing things on stage. Then, in December, Billie EilishĀ wasĀ hit in the face with an object while singing “What Was I Made For?”
Keith has been on the road for the This Ain’t My First Tour since July and he’s set to wrap the tour in December in Las Vegas. He released his latest single, “Baby You Do,” in July.
