PUNE: Uddipan, a skill development and job portal organised a two-day Career Conclave 2025 – Mega Job Fair on 11th and 12th December 2025 at the Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM) campus. Organised in collaboration with Ramanbyte Pvt. Ltd. and supported by AICTE, the event aimed to bring together talented students from across Pune District and Maharashtra and leading companies from multiple sectors on a single platform.The Uddipan portal is a skill development and job portal developed by Ramanbyte Pvt. Ltd. and supported by AICTE to assist these students from urban and rural areas in applying for jobs and securing internships in various corporate houses and industries.The Mega Job Fair received an overwhelming response with over 2,500 students from Engineering, Commerce, Science, Arts, and Management streams participating across both days. More than 300 companies, including major corporates, SMEs, and fast-growing startups, took part in the recruitment drive. Sectors represented at the conclave included Real Estate, Banking & Financial Services, FinTech, IT & ITeS, EdTech, Consulting, Engineering, Manufacturing, Automotive, Retail, E-Commerce, Hospitality, and Professional Services.Students from undergraduate and postgraduate backgrounds were offered a wide range of job roles such as Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Customer Support, Operations, and more. Technical students were provided opportunities for roles like Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET), Diploma Engineer Trainee (DET), Design Engineer, Service Engineer, Project/Site Engineer, Production Engineer, and Quality Engineer. Commerce and management graduates were considered for profiles such as Accounts Executive, Finance Associate, and Banking & Loan Processing. Several companies also opened niche roles including AutoCAD Specialist, Estimation Engineer, QC Chemist, and HVAC/Technical Services.Prominent organizations such as Flipkart, Eclerx, WNS, Bajaj Housing Finance, PayTm, Axis Bank, D-Mart, Suzlon, Teleperformance, BVG India, and many others conducted selection rounds, interviews, and career interactions throughout the two days. Students gained practical exposure on how to prepare for interviews, engage with recruiters, and understand industry expectations.Mr. Raman Preet, Chairman, PIBM said that companies are seeking students with strong communication, analytical thinking, and digital skills, along with strong domain abilities, who could make a difference and make them stand alone among the huge pool of candidates. Through a structured Skill Matrix aligned with job descriptions, PIBM is training it’s students in essential competencies to make them industry ready. The two-day Career Conclave also served as a knowledge-sharing platform where students interacted with industry leaders and explored suitable career paths based on their strengths and interests. The event strengthened student confidence, helped them build professional networks, and exposed them to the evolving demands of the job market.The Career Conclave 2025 concluded on a highly successful note, with a large number of students receiving job offers and many others securing interview opportunities. Uddipan, along with its partners, plans to continue creating such platforms to support youth employment and provide students with meaningful career opportunities.
