Kelsea Ballerini plans to sit in parks—silently.
After all, when the “I Sit in Parks” singer arrived at the 2026 Grammy Awards, where her album Patterns is nominated for Best Contemporary Country Album, she came with a new goal in mind.
“Right now, I’m back in my real life,” she said to Zuri Hall during during the E! Live From the Red Carpet. “I’m not writing. I’m just—I’ve always been a chronic oversharer. And I think for the first time, at 32, I’m reining it in.”
“I think my life,” Kelsea—who wore a custom gold Etro gown to the award show—mused, “might just be my life for awhile.” (See every red carpet appearance here.)
The recommitment to privacy comes after she and boyfriend Chase Stokes confirmed on New Years that they’d gotten back together following their September breakup.
“Messy year for the heart, messy year for the outside coming in, messy year for the way it became an out of our hands portrayal of it,” Kelsea wrote on her Instagram Stories Dec. 31. “But what i’ll say, and all i really care to share indefinitely with my personal life anymore, is that i really love love.”
