Alec and Hilaria Baldwin’s nine-year-old son landed himself in the hospital while on a recent family holiday after “splitting his head open.”
Hilaria, 42, shared photos of Leo lying in a hospital bed as part of an Instagram post, explaining that her family had come to visit her during a work trip before the incident happened.
In the post the nine-year-old can be seen lying in a hospital bed with a doctor leaning over him. Other photos show an upclose shot of bandages on his forehead.
“I love that my family came to meet me after my work trip. Such a special time to be here together,” the post started.
“Trigger warning: Leo split his forehead open and we were well taken care of in the hospital. So grateful for the kindness and care.
“Other than that, it’s been beach, together, practising walking like (crabs) 😂. Memories made. I missed them so much it hurt.”
The post also featured pictures of her other children she shares with husband Alec, Carmen Gabriela, 12, María Lucía Victoria, five, Ilaria Catalina Irena, two, Eduardo ‘Edu’ Pao Lucas, five, Romeo Alejandro David nine, and Rafael Thomas, 10.

The family were pictured walking through an unnamed island paradise, enjoying time on the beach and in the water.
In another post from earlier this week, she revealed her family had come to visit her at the end of her work trip, which has kept her away from home since March 8.
“Reunited,” she wrote on Instagram.

The post included photos of her kids and a video of Alec walking through the water.
Hilaria shared on March 8 that she was going on a work trip, but she was having a hard time being away from her husband and their seven children.
”Today is the day I fly away for a really exciting work trip, I am so grateful and happy for this experience,” she wrote in an Instagram post.
“My heart hurts because I’m leaving all my babies at home 😭.
“My kids asked me how may hugs and kisses will feel like enough: I told them there is no number that will make us not miss and ache for each other every day.”
“But we will talk every day and count the days until we can be together again.”
Hilaria and Alec met at a restaurant in 2011, getting married a year later in 2012.
They welcomed their eldest child in 2013, and their youngest joined the family in 2022.
