He was 56 years old at the time of his passing. He was also known virally as the ‘Juice Uncle’ among fans.
Park Dong Bin passes away days before restaraunt opening
The report was confirmed by Maeil Business, revealing that he was found unresponsive at his restaurant in Pyeongtaek which he was planning on opening soon. He was found by a close friend who was helping him with the restaurant on April 29 at 4:25 PM.As of right now, the case is under investigation, however, according to the report officials from the Pyeongtaek Police Station have yet to find any signs of foul play or even a suicide note. The cause of his passing has also not been made public. His funeral and memorial service will be held today Anseong Civic Funeral Hall in Gyeonggi Province.The veteran actor is survived by his wife actress Lee Sang Yi, and their young daughter.

The veteran actor had been part of the entertainment industry for almost 30 years, appearing in many Korean dramas and films throughout his career. Born on October 15, 1969, Park started his career around 1990 appearing in small roles in various TV series. His break out role came with the film, ‘Shiri’, which was released in 1998.He worked in a wide variety of genres, and was best known for his acting prowess and his ability to blend into his character. Some of his most popular works over the years include ‘The Huntresses’, ‘It Can Be Done’, ‘All About Kimchi’, ‘The Great Wife’ and ‘Enemies From a Past Life’ to name a few.He was mostly known by his nickname, ‘Juice Uncle’, which came from one of his most iconic roles in the drama ‘I Love You, I’m Sorry’, where he spat out some orange juice in shock during a scene.
