Buyout out Jonathan Marchessault? Things haven’t worked out as either side had hoped. Finding a trade partner would be ideal, but he has three years left at $5.5 million. A buyout would save the Predators $1.2 million off his cap next year, two years of $2.3 million savings, and then just a $961,000 cap hit for years four through six. Matt Duchene‘s dead cap space goes down to $1.5 million next year.
Trade for Philadelphia Flyers’ Matvei Michkov – His numbers dropped this past season under Rick Tocchet. Could the Predators entice the Flyers with a 2026 first and third-round pick, and 2023 first-round pick Tanner Molendyk?

Send an offer sheet to Dallas Stars’ Jason Robertson – Robertson will be looking for some around $12 million, and it wouldn’t be easy for the Stars to match. An offer sheet between $9.3 and $11.7 million costs two first-round picks, a second and a third. Over $11.7 million is four first-round picks.
