Yungblud‘s team have spoken out after Machine Gun Kelly allegedly slammed the singer on social media in a now-deleted post.
Yungblud, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, posted an Instagram video saying “artists are cancelling [concerts] all the time” because ticket sales have become “completely unaffordable”.
Kelly (also known as MGK) is said to have hit back with a now-deleted comment which instead accused Yungblud, 28, of cancelling his tour because he “couldn’t sell tickets” and “blamed it on mental health”.
He also allegedly called Yungblud a “silver spooned preachy w–ker”.
Yungblud’s team have since clapped back at the singer, sharing a statement with TMZ.
“Dom’s message was about the growing reality that live music is becoming financially impossible for a lot of young fans. It was never directed at any individual artist,” said the representative.
“To weaponise somebody’s mental health in a public space like this is incredibly disappointing.

“Dom has always been honest about his struggles and has worked hard to encourage open conversations around mental wellbeing.”
The team also shut down MGK’s claims about Yungblud’s cancelled tour, revealing there were multiple factors behind the decision.
The original video, which now has 891,000 views, was a push to cheaper fan experiences and his own project BLUDFEST which aims to “battle unaffordable live music prices”.
Part of MGK’s alleged comment was calling out Yungblud for charging “the same price as every other artist” despite the singer’s stance on ticket prices.
Fans have since rushed to the comments in search of any evidence of the two rockstars feuding.
“Who’s here for the MGK comment,” said one follower in a comment that’s amassed over 1.8k likes.
“Did he remove MgK’s comment?🤦♂️🤣,” wrote another.
“I’m disappointed, I came to see MGK comment and… it’s gone. That’s okay, screenshots are forever. 😂😂😂😂😂,” posted a third.
nine.com.au have contacted Yungblud and MGK’s team for comment.
Yungblud cancelled the remainder of his 2025 tour dates while on his Idols World Tour.
He revealed on social media at the time that doctors have ordered him to take a break before continuing in 2026 with his North American leg.
“My heart is broken… I understand that some of you will be frustrated. I just want you to know that this is so hard for me to do but I promise I will make it up to you,” he said at the time.
The singer cancelled his November gigs in the US as well as planned gigs in Mexico City and Latin America.
He returned to his tour in January 2026 for the Australian leg.
Yungblud most recently performed in Australia January this year. At the same time his new album IDOLS reached No. 1 on the ARIA albums charts.
Over the years he’s released a total four studio albums, rapidly gaining an international fanbase loyally devoted to him as a musician.
In 2022, he released the self-titled album Yungblud, including a song titled The Funeral, which he described at the time as “pretty rock and roll”.
