TOKEN2049 is one of the crypto industry’s largest annual conferences, drawing global founders, investors and builders. This year’s Singapore edition runs October 7-8, and alongside the main programme, a wave of side events fills the surrounding days, including one from ChangeNOW.
ChangeNOW, a crypto exchange platform, is hosting a private side event during TOKEN2049 Singapore with no panels, presentations, or a packed conference agenda. Instead, the Retrofuture Soiree by ChangeNOW: Singapore Edition will bring a limited group of crypto industry guests together for an evening of drinks, food, music, and conversation.
The event will take place on Wednesday, October 7, at 8:00 p.m., after the first day of TOKEN2049. ChangeNOW CSO Pauline Shangett and Director of Strategic Partnerships Martin Masser will host the evening.

The venue is a Singapore cocktail bar inspired by the culture and design of the 1960s. Its name and exact location will be shared with approved guests ahead of the event.
Retrofuturism also carries through the event itself. The space will feature references to experimental architecture, including a capsule-inspired photo installation created for the night.
Each guest will also receive a limited-edition takeaway created around one question: if crypto had existed six decades ago, how would you have kept a seed phrase safe until today? ChangeNOW made its own answer, and guests will take it home at the end of the night.
The Soiree is part of ChangeNOW’s presence at TOKEN2049 Singapore. The company will also take part in the conference programme, where it will discuss its crypto super app direction and the idea of bringing more of what users do with crypto into a single product.
The discussion topic is relevant to what the company aims to do now. Starting the journey as a no-KYC platform, ChangeNOW now positions itself as a crypto super app, aiming to bring swapping, storage, and other tools together in one place.
