The movie began its theatrical run with Rs 90 lakhs on September 25.The collection increased to Rs 1.25 cr on Day 2 and Rs 1.40 cr on Day 3. It then recorded Rs 85 lakhs on both Day 4 and Day 5. On September 30, the movie collected Rs 83 lakhs. Its Day 7 collection stood at Rs 78 lakhs on October 1. The film’s earnings improved during the following two days. ‘Dorothy’ collected Rs 1.08 cr on October 2 and Rs 1.00 cr on October 3.Coming to the Tamil belt, its daily collection began with Rs 90 lakhs on Day 1.
