Savannah Chrisley is going to be a wife and a mom.
The Chrisley Knows Best alum first revealed that she was in a relationship during a May 2026 episode of her podcast, Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley, though she initially kept her boyfriend’s name under wraps.
“[There] will be a time when you find out about it,” she said. “It may not be until after I’m married, but you will find out about it.”
In subsequent podcast episodes, Chrisley affectionately referred to her boyfriend as “mystery man.” However, she revealed his identity as Jason, without sharing his last name, during a podcast episode released on Oct. 27 while sharing two major announcements: the couple’s engagement and the news that they’re expecting their first child together.
“The past few years have taken me through fires I never imagined I’d have to walk through. […] I wondered if I would ever find my forever […] and then God sent me J,” Chrisley wrote on Instagram the same day the podcast episode was released. “And just when I thought my heart couldn’t hold any more love, God gave us our sweetest blessing yet … we’re having a BABY!” she continued.
Shortly after, PEOPLE confirmed that Chrisley, 29, was engaged to Jason Galanis, 56, who was previously convicted of fraud and has spent time in federal prison before President Donald Trump commuted his sentence in March 2025.
So, who is Savannah Chrisley’s fiancé? Here’s what we know about Jason Galanis and his relationship with the podcast host.
He is a businessman who pleaded guilty to fraud

Galanis is a businessman who was an associate of Hunter Biden and worked with him and his business partner Devon Archer.
In 2020, Galanis was sentenced to 189 months in prison and ordered to pay nearly $162 million in forfeiture and restitution after pleading guilty to his role in two securities fraud schemes, per The New York Times.
According to documents shared at trial, one of the schemes defrauded investors and a Native American tribal entity of tens of millions of dollars through the issuance of tribal bonds. Some of the money raised from those bonds was used to buy financial firms as part of a plan by Galanis and his partners to combine them into a larger company called Burnham Financial Group, which listed Biden as vice chairman, per the Wall Street Journal. Biden was not charged nor indicted.
“Jason Galanis orchestrated two multimillion-dollar fraud schemes, and hid behind a team of co-conspirators to conceal his involvement and defy an SEC ban,” acting U.S. attorney Audrey Strauss said at the time of his sentencing, per the United States Attorney’s Office. “He and his codefendants engaged in market manipulation and the defrauding of shareholders, and they stole a large portion of the proceeds of tribal bonds that were intended to fund economic development projects. Now Jason Galanis has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term that reflects the magnitude and pervasiveness of his crimes.”
While he was in prison, Galanis testified in the Republican impeachment inquiry into then-President Joe Biden in March 2024.
One year later, Trump commuted Galanis’ sentence in March 2025.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office noted that he had also been sentenced in 2017 for two separate schemes, though those convictions had been vacated.
They began dating in July 2025

Chrisley gave listeners an update on her relationship status during a May 2026 episode of Unlocked — though she shared few details about her then-boyfriend.
“I am dating someone. I am extremely happy and extremely fulfilled in life,” Chrisley said. “I feel like where I am at in life is the moment that I had always dreamt of but never thought was possible.”
At the time, Chrisley told listeners that she intended to keep their relationship out of the public eye. However, in October 2026, she revealed his name — Jason — and shared that the couple had been dating since July 2025.

During the Oct. 27 episode of Unlocked, Chrisley also revealed that she and Galanis met “in the world of politics.” However, dating was the last thing on her mind at the time, as she was focused on getting her parents released from prison.
After Trump pardoned Todd and Julie Chrisley (who were in prison for financial crimes) on May 28, 2025, Galanis reached out to their daughter with a congratulatory text on June 1.
“The first text that Jason sent me was, ‘Hey, Savannah, it’s just incredible what you did for your family. You never stopped. Fearless person. Congratulations,’ ” Chrisley recalled on her podcast, admitting that it took her nine days to respond.
The pair continued texting and their relationship eventually turned romantic. Chrisley also addressed her “huge age gap” with Galanis, who is 27 years older than her, explaining why their age difference doesn’t bother her.
“I would rather 20 phenomenal, unbelievable years with someone than 50 just meh years,” she said. “He doesn’t look his age, nor does he act his age. His body is great, his mind is even sharper. […] This person is the love of my life.”
They got engaged in December 2025
Chrisley and Galanis started dating in July 2025 and got engaged five months later while vacationing in their “happy place,” the Cayman Islands.
Galanis designed the engagement ring with the help of Genovese Jewelers and popped the question on the beach during a day trip to Little Cayman.
“My ring is insane, and I love it, and it’s everything I ever wanted,” Chrisley said on her podcast, describing the proposal as “the most magical, amazing experience.”
The couple originally planned to tie the knot in January 2027 but pushed their wedding back to May 2027 after learning they were expecting their first child together.

After being diagnosed with endometriosis, Chrisley decided to freeze her eggs, a decision she publicly shared during an April 2026 episode of Unlocked. However, she revealed in October that she and Galanis had actually decided to create embryos together.
“Jason was such a rockstar during that journey. I fell even more in love with him during that,” she said on the Oct. 27 episode.
The process resulted in two healthy embryos, both girls. However, before Chrisley could undergo an embryo transfer, she discovered that she had conceived naturally, which she called the “surprise of a lifetime.” The couple learned they were expecting while on a cruise to Istanbul, Turkey and Greece in May 2026.
“It was a major plot twist,” she said during the podcast episode. “We both were so shocked, so thrilled. God’s hand was written all over this.”
