Annie Jump Cannon isn’t your typical Math Rock band, their music for one wanders far and wide from the American Football and Tiny Moving Parts template, drawing as much from EMO-revival and regular Indie Pop as anything. Yet, somehow on a tune like Moth they have captured all of the potential of what the midwestern Math Rock scene was cooking up some 30 or so years ago. We love it!
