The typical student traveling on a Eurail pass will stop in such lands as Österreich, Italia, Česko and Schweiz — also known as Suisse, Svizzera, and Svizra. If that student happens to hail from the English-speaking world, the names Austria, Italy, the Czech Republic (the recent movement for Czechia notwithstanding), and Switzerland will sound more familiar. That’s the bad decision at the center of Olivia Wilde’s The Invite, though it isn’t Joe (Seth Rogen) who makes it. His wife, Angela (Wilde), invites their neighbors over without telling him, partly because she wants to show off the San Francisco apartment she has spent months renovating. Joe, meanwhile, would rather they keep their voices down, their furniture still, and whatever else they do upstairs out of earshot. The neighbors…

The Trump administration finalized new Section 301 tariffs on dozens of trading partners, ranging from 10 to 12.5 percent, perfectly timed to take effect as the temporary global tariff of 10 percent under Section 122 expires. Ilya Somin lays out why this action is likely illegal and runs afoul of Section 301’s own requirements as well as the major questions and nondelegation doctrines.…

Was always a tough spot for Kyle Dubas to rebuild while trying to win for the core three Josh Yohe of The Athletic: (mailbag) Pittsburgh Penguins GM Kyle Dubas may be doing too good of job and the Penguins may not get to point where they bottom out, which could be a problem down the road.
