Rebecca ‘Bec’ Judd has shared the “liberating” way she deals with trolls and hate comments.
In a conversation with influencer Lauren Curtis on the latest episode of her podcast Vain-ish, the media personality said she “doesn’t give a s—” about her online critics.
Judd often faces backlash online, including accusations of promoting insecurities in women as she is open about her use of filler and cosmetic surgery.

She is also vocal about the youth crime crisis Victoria is currently facing, which has similarly opened her up to criticism.
“They [online hates] actually don’t know you. What’s that saying?” she told Curtis.
“These people who I don’t even know want to think that about me? Let them! I don’t give a s–t, and that has been liberating.

“People have sent me this meme of this guy singing, ‘I don’t give a f–k’, and when I get comments or even when the kids are complaining or fighting, I sing to them, ‘I don’t give a f–k!’
”Whenever I get trolled, I’m like, ‘block’.”
Under her Instagram post promoting the episode, Judd hit back at a comment that accused her of “promoting insecurities in women.”
“Bec Judd amazes me. She’s clearly an intelligent person but yet she chooses to spend her time and energy on frivolous content that promotes perfection and insecurities in women,” the person had written.
“I do wonder whether she would ever consider a career in something where her look is not celebrated.
“A career that is more about her skill and professionalism rather than anything that requires promotion.”
Judd wrote back with a long list of her accomplishments, including her book, her previous work as a clinical speech pathologist, and even her stint as a weather reporter for 9News.
“Let me know which one of those careers makes you feel the least amount of jealousy towards me,” she finished the reply with.
Judd talks openly about the procedures she gets done and is an advocate of women making self-care a priority both on Instagram and on her podcast.
In an exclusive interview with nine.com.au last year, Judd explained why she is so open about beauty procedures.
“Gone are the days where you go, ‘Oh, I just woke up like this, and I look like this because I got eight hours [of] sleep and I drink lots of water and with sunscreen,'” she explained.
“All those things are really important, don’t get me wrong, especially sunscreen for anti-ageing.
“But there’s a lot of extra heavy lifting that goes into looking a certain way when you’re aging, especially when you hit middle age.”
Judd also added it’s important for people to be understanding and open to however someone chooses to navigate ageing gracefully.
“Women get criticised for a lot of things, some things more than others,” she said.
“Honestly, sometimes we are our own worst enemies … I think it’s just really great for everyone to be more accepting of everyone’s journey.
“Some people don’t like doing much, some people like doing a lot when it comes to anti-ageing wellness, I think wherever you sit on that, what someone else is doing shouldn’t bother you.”
