Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batter Dewald Brevis had a decent outing with the bat in the ongoing game against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The match between the two teams is taking place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
Dewald Brevis, who played a magnificent innings in the last match, came up with another decent hand in the ongoing game. The South Africa National Cricket Team batter walked out at four at a time when Chennai Super Kings were under pressure and were reeling at 48 for three.
Dewald Brevis batted in his usual aggressive way as he was all over the Punjab Kings bowlers. The South Africa National Cricket Team player looked comfortable against spinners as well as pacers, as he made sure that he bailed the team out of trouble with Sam Curran.

Dewald Brevis looked in complete control of his innings, and it seemed that he would end up playing a big innings. But the Chennai Super Kings batter ended up giving his wicket as he played an ugly shot, and as a result, the MS Dhoni-led side lost their fourth wicket.
Azmatullah Omarzai bowled a good length delivery on off-stump, and Dewald Brevis’ feet didn’t move anywhere as he just hacked across the line with an angled bat. The bat didn’t have enough room to come through,h and he got nowhere near it in the end.
The ball went on to hit the off-stump as Azmatullah Omarzai provided his team with the crucial breakthrough and helped his team break the partnership, which was troubling the Punjab Kings.
