Ioan Gruffudd and Bianca Gruffudd have made their first public appearance since announcing they’re expecting their first child.
The Hollywood star and his Australian wife announced their impending arrival in a social media post last month, showing a silhouette of Ioan kissing Bianca’s growing bump.
Today, the happy couple happily posed for photographers on the blue carpet at the world premiere of The Fantastic Four: First Steps in LA, with the actor placing his hand tenderly on the actress’ belly.

Ioan and Bianca chose to make their baby bump debut at an event close to the actor’s heart, with Ioan starring in the 2005 film in the movie franchise.
The happy news for the pair comes after a difficult few years following the 51-year-old Titanic star’s very public split from first wife Alice Evans after 14 years of marriage.
The British-American actress accused her then-husband of having a three-year affair with the 32-year-old Elvis Aussie actress, claims both Ioan and Bianca have denied.
The social media posts in January 2021 were the start of a messy end to the couple’s 20-year relationship, which involves two young daughters, Ella, 15, and Elsie, 11.

Bianca too was previously married – splitting from her ex-husband while living in Brisbane following her multiple sclerosis diagnosis in 2018, at the age of 25.
Ioan and Bianca (nee Wallace) are reported to have met in Australia while filming the TV series Harrow.
In a piece for Telegraph UK, Bianca wrote about how she gave the actor a “get-out-of-jail card” on account of her illness before things got serious between the two of them.
“Before Yo [Ioan] and I entered into a relationship back in 2021, I gave him a get-out-of-jail card in the form of a nerve-racking conversation about the reality of my illness and what that means for his future as well,” she wrote.
“I asked him to spend the next few days seriously considering this and to let me know his decision. My heart couldn’t take being let down again and I assured him that there would be no hard feelings.

The pair went public with their relationship in October 2021, six months after Evans filed for divorce.
They announced their engagement in January 2024 and wed in April this year.
