Georgi’s Sister Grills Him About Having Kids, Darcey Argues Over Secret

Darcey Silva is finally meeting members of Georgi Rusev’s family for the first time — but Georgi has a big secret and it led to yet another argument between the pair.

On the Aug. 17 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Darcey and Georgi traveled to a medieval park in Bulgaria for what Darcey described as an “epic” meeting with Georgi’s sister, Nikolina, and her family, who Georgi has not seen in 13 years.

“I’m excited because I think this is a trial run to meeting his parents,” Darcey explained in a confession. Meanwhile, Georgi hoped meeting would help win him some “fun uncle” points with his niece and nephew, who he had never met before. 

After arriving at the park, Georgi and Nikolina shared an emotional embrace as Darcey and the others watched on. “I’m so happy … to see you in real life,” Nikolina said while hugging her brother.

Georgi admitted in a confessional that he was emotional seeing his sister years after she built a family. “I don’t realize how much I miss my family,” he said, adding, “It’s just mind blowing.”

Georgi then introduced his sister to Darcey, who gave Nikolina a hug — followed by a long awkward silence afterward.

In a confessional, Nikolina said Darcey was a “beautiful woman,” but feared that “with time, the age difference could impact their relationship.”

“Maybe, after some years, this will weigh on him and he could regret not having kids,” Nikolina said. “But no one knows, only time will tell.”

During the outing, Darcey took the time to tell Nikolina that she was “looking forward to having more amazing moments” in the future.

Nikolina then confirmed that Georgi “has spoken a lot” about his wife and that he is “happy” in their relationship.

In a confessional, Darcey said she felt “reassured” by her conversation with Nikolina. “It gives me the reassurance that he really loves me and he knows what we have is special,” she explained.

Nikolina’s kindness also made Darcey “a lot less nervous” about her upcoming meeting with Georgi’s parents — which would happen sooner than she thought. 

After partaking in some fun medieval activities at the park, everyone said their goodbyes.

Afterward, Georgi told his sister about his concerns heading into Darcey’s first-ever meeting with their parents.

“Perhaps they expected that at this age, 37 years old, I would have kids [and] be married to a Bulgarian woman,” Georgi explained.

Nikolina sympathized. “The only thing is that Mom and Dad will regret it if one day you decided you regret not having kids,” she explained. “They care about you being well and happy.”

But tensions rose between Darcey and Georgi when they arrived back at the hotel after Georgi revealed his big secret: Darcey’s first meeting with his parents was scheduled for the next morning.

“Are you kidding me?” Darcey exclaimed, adding, “I thought maybe we’d have a day or so for ourselves, for our honeymoon.”

She then waved some of her skimpy clothing, which Georgi previously asked her not to bring to Bulgaria, in the air.

“I don’t understand, it’s like everything with you is like a mystery,” Darcey continued. “It’s like, I never know what’s going to happen.”

Georgi was more concerned about maintaining a “positive mood” ahead of the meeting with his parents, but Darcey was not ready to drop the subject. “This whole trip, I’ve been saying I want to know things,” she explained. “I’m sick of saying that.”

Darcey then leaned in to her concerns about Georgi keeping secrets from her about his finances — having learned earlier in the season that he got a promotion at work, but did not let her know. 

“It concerns me that you can’t be open and honest about your finances with your wife,” she told Georgi, who asked Darcey to “let things go.”

But she refused. “Honestly, it never really gets resolved. Take your own accountability,” Darcey explained.

Georgi then argued that he doesn’t have the time to count his money, and suggested that Darcey would “spend it all” if he was honest about his wages.

But Darcey wasn’t buying the excuse. “The point is, you love me? You’ll just be honest. You just don’t want to tell me because you don’t want to include me in any of your thoughts about the future.”

In a confessional, Darcey explained that transparency is important to her in a relationship.

“I want to be able to trust my husband, and a lot of times I feel like I can’t because he can’t even open up to me,” she confessed. “And we easily trigger each other, so I’m scared [of] what the future holds.”

Darcey then accused Georgi of “plotting and planning an exit” from their relationship.

“You already got what you wanted from me, so discard is ready to happen and that’s what I feel,” she shouted.

As a result, Georgi accused Darcey of being self-centered — an accusation that Darcey quickly shut down — before he claimed he doesn’t want to feel “judged” by her.

“You need to make me comfortable for me to open [up] to you,” Georgi explained, later adding: “Nobody know[s] what I feel inside. For girls, it’s normal to go to their parents and to share their emotions … For me, like a boy, I don’t know, I never do that. So for the time, maybe I get used to deal[ing] with my emotions.”

He continued, “I don’t know who to open [up] to. That’s why we need to work on our communication. This is our problem since Day 1.”

Though Darcey initially denied judging her husband, she eventually changed her tune and apologized for not listening to him more. Georgi then admitted, “Maybe I’m doing things I don’t realize I’m doing. But I’m a pretty open book.”

The conversation then returned to their upcoming visit with Georgi’s parents as Darcey told Georgi she’d still like to attend the meeting, but promised to follow her husband’s lead.

“Come give me a hug,” Georgi said before leaping off the bed and holding Darcey in his arms. They two then exchanged “I love yous” as they embraced on the bed. 

In a confessional, Georgi said, “I don’t want to argue anymore. I want to deal with this stuff. We’re going to figure [it] out. We always do. And let’s figure it out again.”

But Georgi expressed concern about what may happen if they have another argument like this in the future. “If she acts like this again, I don’t know what they’re going to think about our marriage.”
