The Indian Air Force (IAF) has started the online registration process for Agniveervayu Intake 01/2027 under the Agnipath Scheme. Eligible unmarried Indian male and female candidates can apply online from today, January 12, 2026.The recruitment is being conducted to select candidates for the Agniveervayu role for a four-year service period in the Indian Air Force. The online examination for this intake will be held on March 30 and March 31, 2026.

- Online exam date: March 30 and March 31, 2026
Only online applications will be accepted. No offline forms are allowed.
Who can apply
- Marital status: Only unmarried male and female candidates
- Date of birth: Candidates born between January 1, 2006, and July 1, 2009 (both dates inclusive)
- Age limit at enrolment: Maximum 21 years
- Educational qualification:
- Candidates who have passed Class 12 (10+2) with Science subjects (Physics, Mathematics and English)
- Candidates who have passed Class 12 in any stream
- Candidates with a Diploma or vocational qualification
Application fee
Examination fee is ₹550 plus 18% Goods and Services Tax (GST). The fee is non-refundable.

IAF Agniveervayu intake 01/2027: Exam pattern
The selection process includes:
- Phase I: Online written test
- Phase II: Physical Fitness Test, Adaptability Tests and document verification
- Phase III: Medical examination
Admit cards for the online exam will be issued 48 to 72 hours before the test.
Service period and benefits
