Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon has sparked a fresh wave of speculation about her rumoured casting in ‘Don 3’ after she posted a heartfelt message for Ranveer Singh on his birthday. Sharing a cute and cherry photo with the actor on her Instagram Stories, Kriti wrote, “Happiest Birthday @ranveersingh! Your energy, your hard work, your crazy talent, and the love you keep spreading have always inspired me!! Shine on, rockstar! Dhurandhar rocks. P.S. Looking forward to working with you soon!”While fans gushed about the cute post, many were especially intrigued by the actress’ eagerness to work with Singh ‘soon’. Her note sent fans into a frenzy, with many interpreting it as a subtle confirmation of their upcoming collaboration in the much-anticipated third instalment of the Don franchise. Though no official announcement has been made, the note has reignited buzz that Kriti has officially replaced Kiara Advani as the leading lady of the upcoming action thriller.On the work front, Kriti has her calendar full with multiple projects. She most recently wrapped up work on Tere Ishq Mein with Dhanush. While there is no word of Don going on floors in the coming months, the actress is expected to begin work on a new film, which hasn’t been officially announced yet.According to reports, Don 3 is expected to go on floors by September 2025. Ranveer, who will headline the film, is expected to begin the film’s shoot opposite Vikrant Massey, who is reportedly cast as the antagonist.Ranveer is also awaiting the release of Dhurandhar. The action film, which also stars R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal and Sanjay Dutt, is set to hit cinemas on 5th December 2025.
