    Two former European champions meet at the 2025 Fifa Club World Cup on Tuesday when Real Madrid face Juventus in the last 16.

    Madrid followed up a 1-1 opening draw with Al-Hilal by beating Pachuca 3-1 and Salzburg 3-0 to win Group H, while Juve were runners-up in Group G with six points, losing to Manchester City on Matchday 3.

    This is the first fixture between the sides since the 2017/18 Champions League quarter-finals, Juventus winning 3-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu but suffering elimination after Madrid edged the tie 4-3 on aggregate.

    Injured right-back Nicolo Savona makes way, as do Weston McKennie, Filip Kostic, Teun Koopmeiners, Dusan Vlasovic and Nicolas Gonzalez.

    Centre-back Federico Gatti missed training a day before the game with a fever.
