Lisa Casually Wears Extremely Rare $300,000 Birkin Bag on a Night Out

Lisa of BLACKPINK was spotted sporting an incredibly rare Birkin bag on a night out in Seoul.

Lisa, 28, wore a black maxi dress with cutouts, and paired the look with an extremely rare Hermès Birkin while in South Korea’s capital city. The Night blue shade-colored bag was the high fashion house’s limited-edition 2021 Faubourg Birkin, which is made to look like the brand’s flagship store on Rue du Faubourg in Paris, featuring windows and all. The bag retails for up to $300,000.

“Former Hermès CEO Charles-Émile Hermès relocated the brand’s flagship store to the iconic street in 1880, where it has remained ever since,” an official description from Sotheby’s reads. “The Hermès bag features three windows with orange awnings, a shopping bag clochette, a matte alligator skin top flap, and alligator skin handles.”

The value of Birkin bags hit a record high this past July when Jane Birkin’s original Birkin prototype was auctioned for $10.1 million in Sotheby’s Paris Fashion Icons sale. According to the institution, the bidding “battle” lasted for 10 minutes between nine collectors before Japanese businessman Shinsuke Sakimoto emerged as the winner.

Sakimoto, the CEO of luxury resale company Valuence Holdings, later remarked that the situation “made me sick to my stomach.”

“It was the most expensive purchase I’ve ever made for a single item,” he told CNN.

Lisa is no stranger to a unique accessory. The White Lotus star notably popularized Labubu dolls as bag charms in April 2024. The monsters have gone on to populate the closets of Simone Biles, Naomi Osaka, Madonna and more.

In May, the K-pop star made her Met Gala debut. She wore a form-fitting black blazer with sheer panels and matching cheeky undies. Lisa also wore a pair of black tights emblazoned with the Louis Vuitton logo.

For accessories, she carried a black Louis Vuitton purse, black pumps and a pearl chain attached to the bottom of her jacket.
