With 229 vacancies advertised initially, the examination process spanned across preliminary tests, a descriptive mains exam, and interviews. Among thousands of aspirants, the top ranks were secured by Ankit (1st), Neelam Gadge (2nd) and Ankit Singhai (3rd). Among the top 10 performers, 3 were women.

The MPPSC has announced the final results for the 2023 cycle, which followed a rigorous multi‑stage selection process comprising preliminaries, mains, and interviews. In this cycle, a total of 229 posts were advertised. Notably, of the 19 Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) positions, women candidates secured an impressive 13, even though only six posts were reserved for them. Moreover, three women feature among the top 10 merit list entries.

- Rank 1: Ankit (Roll No. 100012)
- Rank 2: Neelam Gadge (Roll No. 100022)
- Rank 3: Ankit Singhai (Roll No. 100024)
Ranks 4 to 10 are held by Rahul Mandloi, Ashvini, Priya Agrawal, Prashant Bairagi, Priya Sengar, Swati Singh Baghel, and Rama Kant Gupta.
MPPSC SSE 2023 timeline
The MPPSC State Services Examination 2023 followed a multi-stage selection process spanning over a year. The mains (descriptive) examination was conducted from 11–16 March 2024, followed by the interview stage, which took place from 7 July to 7 August 2025. The final results were subsequently published on 8 November 2025.
