Bangladesh National Cricket Team skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto has looked in a dangerous mood during the ongoing game against the New Zealand National Cricket Team. The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 clash between the teams is taking place at the Rawalpindi International Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.
After losing the first game, Bangladesh National Cricket Team started the second game of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 on a decent note. Najmul Hossain Shanto has led the charge for his team and has looked extremely focused with the bat.
Najmul Hossain Shanto has batted brilliantly so far, and with the way he has played, it seems that he is all set for a big total. The Bangladesh National Cricket Team skipper has played some magnificent shots and is giving his best to put the New Zealand National Cricket Team under pressure.
But Najmul Hossain Shanto has lacked support from the other end. After opening batter Tanzid Hasan got out (24), Mehidy Hasan Miraz joined hands with the skipper. But he, too, couldn’t carry on and ended up gifting his wicket, and this made the captain furious as well.
William O’Rourke bowled a full delivery that was angled onto the pads and was quicker in nature. Mehidy Hasan Miraz tried to flick it over the infield but holed out to mid-on. As he was walking back, skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto came up with a death stare and shared some harsh words.
