The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced a revised schedule for the 2025–26 NEET PG counselling under the 50% All-India Quota for MD/MS/PG Diploma seats. Registration for Round 2 will be held from 5 to 9 December 2025, while choice filling and locking will take place from 6 to 9 December. The seat-allotment result is scheduled for 12 December. The seat matrix has changed with the addition of 239 PG seats at deemed universities and the removal of 235 DNB seats. Reporting at allotted institutes will be from 13 to 21 December. Candidates and institutes must follow the updated schedule and seat matrix to complete the counselling process.

Seat-matrix changes
The seat matrix for NEET PG 2025 has been revised with additions and removals.
- Added seats: 239 PG seats at deemed universities sanctioned by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Removed seats: 235 DNB seats (186 government, 49 private) withdrawn as per National Board of Examinations (NBE) notice.
- Round 2 will reflect the updated seat matrix for MD/MS and deemed university seats.
How to register for NEET PG counselling round 2
The registration process for NEET PG counselling round 2 will begin December 5 onwards. Once open, candidates should follow these steps to complete Round 2 counselling process:
- Check the updated seat matrix on the MCC website.
- Register online between 5–9 December and pay the registration fee.
- Fill and lock choices between 6–9 December.
- Keep all required documents ready: MBBS qualification, internship completion certificate, NEET PG 2025 score/rank, category certificate.
- Report at the allotted institute between 13–21 December.
