Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death was a mystery ever since he passed away. While it was said to be suicide, many thought there was a foul play in this matter. The CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) has been investigating on the matter since a while but it has now filed a closure to the case. Thus, Rhea Chakraborty and many others who were under the scanner in this matter have now breathed a sigh of relief. As the CBI has shut the case, thus, removing possibility of a foul play.
Now after this decision, Pooja Bhatt has come out in support of Rhea. She has reshared a tweet by Akshay Kumar in 2020 when the CBI had opened an investigation on the matter. At that point in time, Akshay had said, “SC directs CBI to investigate Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. May the truth always prevail 🙏🏻 #Prayers”
Pooja has now reshared Akshay’s tweet and said, “The CBI’s March 22, 2025, closure report confirms Sushant Singh Rajput’s death as suicide with no foul play, clearing #RheaChakraborty and others. The truth has prevailed 🙏 #Prayers answered.”
Netizens have reacted to Pooja’s tweet. While some have supported her, some have trolled her for the same. A user said, “I am glad @akshaykumar sir had the courage to tweet that it need a CBI investigation so that truth come out in public. Your tweet quoting him is just a desperate attempt. The big difference in 2 different tweets from 2 different mindset!! He look more genuine here.”
Another user said, “The truth has prevailed lol”
