EVM Layer-1 blockchain Shardeum has rolled out a week-long Quest Campaign to test its EVM Testnet and engage early users.
Running from October 23 to 28, 2025, the Quest invites participants to perform on-chain actions such as deploying smart contracts, executing transactions, and stress-testing the network’s scalability.
The campaign features a total reward pool of 60 million SHM tokens, post the project’s 1:240 redenomination.
Rewards will be distributed among 1,300 winners across three categories — Leaderboard (86.49%), Random Draws (5.79%), and Referrals (7.72%).
The top 1,000 performers (termed as leaderboard) and 200 top referrers will receive the largest share of the incentives.
Shardeum’s latest initiative highlights its push toward community-driven development and performance validation before mainnet launch. The project, co-founded by Nischal Shetty and Omar Syed, emphasizes scalability and affordability through its dynamic sharding mechanism.
By encouraging users to interact directly with the Testnet, Shardeum aims to collect valuable data to enhance stability, reduce gas costs, and optimize network efficiency as it prepares to enter the competitive Layer-1 blockchain landscape.
