According to Sacnilk, the movie had an opening-day collection of Rs. 10.7 crore (Hindi: Rs 10.6, Tamil: Rs 0.05 crore, and Telugu: Rs 0.05 crore). On Saturday, it saw a significant rise, collecting Rs 21.50 crore. This took the total box office collection of ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ after a two-day theatrical run to Rs. 32.20 crore.
