RCB pacer Yash Dayal seems to find himself in a new controversy as the IPL 2025 winner has now been booked for rape in Jaipur. Shocking details have now emerged regarding Dayal’s alleged sexual involvement with a 17-year-old minor during IPL 2025.
Prior to this, Yash Dayal has been under trial for a sexual assault case recently, wherein a woman from Ghaziabad had alleged that the Royal Challengers Bengaluru pacer had committed similar criminal activity.

However, the Allahabad High Court had served a stay order on the Police Custody of Dayal as per the recent proceedings of the case. This case, however, poses a high risk for the RCB player as it involves a minor girl aged 17 accusing the player of rape.

An FIR was filed against Yash Dayal in the Sanganer Sadar Police Station of Jaipur, alleging rape by a minor victim. As per the report, Yash promised the young girl a bright future in professional cricket and used her for 2 years.
Anil Jaiman, the SHO of the Sanganer Sadar Police Station, stated that the victim came in touch with Yash while playing cricket. A couple of years ago, when the victim was a minor, Yash raped her multiple times for 2 years on the pretext of a bright future in cricket.
IPL 2025 is also mentioned in the report
As per the Jaipur Police, Yash Dayal had come to Jaipur for the RR vs RCB match, and he called the victim to a hotel near the Sitapura area and raped her. After prolonged silence, emotional blackmailing, and physical and mental harassment, the victim finally registered an official complaint on July 23, 2025.
The Jaipur Police also informed that since the first rape was reported when the victim was a 17-year-old minor, a case has been registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act 2012).
If proven guilty, Yash could be in a lot of trouble as cases registered under the POCSO Act are not only tried steadfastly, but the punishment is very severe, which might include imprisonment for multiple years.
RCB’s win has been bittersweet
RCB was the most anticipated team of the IPL title as they had not won the biggest cricket championship in their 18 years of existence. With 1 of the biggest fan bases across all the IPL teams, hopes were high from the team as a new management had taken over before the IPL 2025 season.

In the most recent development, the Karnataka Government had blamed RCB entirely for the mishap and shrugged off its responsibility. Then, Yash Dayal was alleged in a sexual harassment case in Ghaziabad, where the trial has already begun.
Now, with this fresh episode of Dayal being maligned, RCB’s fans have had a nightmare since the title win, and they would seriously hope that Yash Dayal comes out clean of this episode.
However, justice must prevail at all costs, and if found guilty, Yash should be punished as per the law to set an example for other cricketers too.
