Taylor Swift has given a surprise performance in Nashville, singing an acoustic version of one of her biggest hits.
Swift took to the stage at Brooklyn Bowl for the Tight Ends and Friends benefit concert on Tuesday night (Wednesday AEST), marking her first performance in six months following the end of The Eras Tour.
The intimate gig was for 1200 lucky people on the opening night of the NFL’s Tight End University, which Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce has helped run for the past five years.

The three-day training camp for 80 players across the NFL takes place annually in Nashville, with the benefit concert the only event open to the public.
A number of acts had been announced for the concert, including Kane Brown, Jordan Davis, Chase Rice, Sophia Scott and Graham Barham.
While Swift wasn’t announced on the bill, the event had sold out with many locals hoping the singer would make an appearance of some description, especially with Swift and Kelce spending so much time together during her music break after the end of her tour.
After Brown announced a special guest at the end of the concert, the room erupted as Swift walked out, using Rice’s guitar for her last-minute performance.

The 35-year-old changed from a green and white gingham two-piece outfit into a black mini dress and tied her blonde locks into a bun.
Swift sang an acoustic version of Shake It Off and videos instantly flooded social media.
Kelce and Swift enjoyed the evening in the VIP section of the event, which also marked the couple’s red carpet debut after two years of dating.

They had been the subject of marriage rumours recently, with fans thinking they’d secretly tied the knot after being named Taylor and Travis Kelce at a friend’s wedding.
The singer appeared to shut down those rumours by referring to her 35-year-old beau as her “boyfriend” during a recent visit to a children’s hospital in Florida.
