    Chasing a modest target of 128, the Indian batters came out with a clear and aggressive intent from the very start. The tone was set in the powerplay, where India raced to 61 runs for the loss of just two wickets, signaling their intent to finish the match quickly. While openers Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma provided a brisk start, it was the partnership between Suryakumar and Tilak Varma that ultimately sealed the win.

    The duo put on a composed and well-crafted 56-run partnership for the third wicket, systematically dismantling the Pakistan bowling attack. Tilak played a solid innings of 31 runs, but the real anchor of the chase was captain Suryakumar. Leading from the front, Suryakumar remained unbeaten with a calm and commanding 47 not out, ensuring there were no late jitters. His composed innings, laced with six boundaries, showcased his ability to soak up pressure and guide his team home. Despite Ayub’s impressive three-wicket haul for Pakistan, it was not enough to stop the Indian charge. India comfortably reached the target in just 15.5 overs, securing a dominant seven-wicket victory with 25 balls to spare.
