Paris Saint-Germain left it late to snatch all three points in their Ligue 1 clash at home to Nice to preserve a two-point lead at the top.

It seemed as though the Champions League winners were set to drop points for the second game in a row until, with the game goalless, Goncalo Ramos netted in the 95th minute to give Luis Enrique’s men the win that keeps them above Marseille at the summit of the French top-flight.

Ramos has now scored goals in second-half stoppage on four separate occasions already this season, having done so in Uefa Super Cup final against Tottenham, as well as against Atalanta and Barcelona in the Champions League.

Marseille also won 1-0 in their clash with Auxerre to move into second. The victory came courtesy of an Angel Gomes goal, in a game that also saw Roberto De Zerbi’s side have to play with 10 men for the final 25 minutes after Ulisess Garcia was sent off.

Auxerre also ended the game with one less player when Sinaly Diomande saw red deep into second-half stoppage time.

In the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich maintained their perfect start to the season with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Leverkusen.

Harry Kane was among the substitutes for the clash at the Allianz Arena, where goals from Serge Gnabry, Nicolas Jackson and a Loic Bade own goal were enough to see the tie effectively ended as a contest before half-time.

The result means Bayern occupy a five-point lead at the top of the table after winning all nine of their opening league matches.

Elsewhere, second-placed RB Leipzig beat Stuttgart 3-1 courtesy of goals from a Jeff Chabot own goal, Yan Diomande and Romulo Cardoso.

In Serie A, champions and current leaders Napoli opened the door for Roma to move above them with a victory over AC Milan after Antonio Conte’s side failed to beat Como.

The game ended 0-0 but could have been different had Alvaro Morata not seen his penalty saved by Vanja Milinkovic-Savic after the Napoli keeper brought down the Spaniard in the box at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

Rasmus Hojlund came close to finding a winner 10 minutes from time, but his header was straight at Jean Butez in the Como goal.

Meanwhile, Juventus kept up with the title-chasing pack after they emerged 2-1 winners over Cremonese.

Filip Kostic gave the Old Lady the lead two minutes into the game before Andrea Cambiaso added a second on 68-minutes.

Jamie Vardy then pulled one in the 83rd minute to make it an interesting last period, but Juve held on to take all three points.

In Spain, Real Madrid weren’t the only LaLiga side to come away with an impressive victory on Saturday.

Villarreal moved into second – temporarily at least – after a 4-0 thrashing of Rayo Vallecano, thanks to goals from Gerard Moreno, Alberto Moleiro, Santi Comesana and Ayoze Perez.

Meanwhile, fourth-placed Atletico ran out 3-0 winners over Sevilla. Diego Simeone’s side scored three times in the final 26 minutes, courtesy of a Julian Alvarez penalty, Thiago Almada and Antione Griezmann.
