David Pagnotta: “One day it goes quiet, and then the next day everything picks up, and then it sounds like, oh, it’s picking up again. Like this is the same stuff we’ve been told in the last three weeks.
NHL Rumors: Nashville Predators Are Not Done Adding
I do think the conversation, conversations, excuse me, plural, have escalated since he took his stance and said, ‘Peace out, trade me. You guys have had too much time on this one.’ I think those conversations have picked up.
I’m still sitting here waiting to see where what happens to his list. Does he dig in and say, ‘That’s it,’ or does he say, ‘Fine, I’ll add teams A,B, C.’
And it sounds like, we know Minnesota’s offer at this point, or at least the basis of it. You know, you have (Danila) Yurov, you have two first-round picks, and you’ve got a couple guys to make the money work. Roster guys. They feel that that’s their best offer for now, anyway, and sounds like that’s the best offer amongst the 10 teams on his list. It still doesn’t appease what Detroit wants.
And I think they get more out of a couple of the teams that are not on his list. But we have to, we have to wait and see. Like we all know about Montreal. But Habs aside, you know Buffalo has been in this mix, and, and Boston and St. Louis, I believe, and L.A. was a while ago. Like, do they get more out of one of those four or five teams than they would out of Minnesota for, for right now?

I think that’s what Horcoff and company are kind of waiting on to see if there’s an opportunity to expand even further. Because they can turn around and say, “Look, man, we can we can end this today. It’s one of these teams. Pick, but we’re not there yet.”
