The online registration process will begin on May 12, 2026, and will remain open till June 11, 2026. Besides, candidates with a graduation degree with Hindi and English as core subjects with a minimum of 50% marks are also eligible.As far as company secretary posts are concerned, the candidate should have a graduate degree in any stream, and the candidate should have a company secretary qualification. Coal India Management Trainee 2026 : Selection procedure
The first step in the process of selection would be the computer-based test (CBT). Two papers will comprise the CBT, where each paper will contain 100 objective questions, with each question being one mark.In the first paper, questions would appear on General Knowledge and Awareness, Reasoning Ability, Numerical Ability, and General English.There will be no negative marking in the examination. Unattempted questions will carry no marks, making accuracy and time management the key deciding factors.The exam duration will be three hours, designed to evaluate both conceptual clarity and subject expertise.

The application fee has been set at ₹1180 for candidates belonging to General (UR), OBC (Creamy and Non-Creamy Layer), and EWS categories.However, SC, ST, PwBD candidates, as well as employees of Coal India Limited and its subsidiaries, are exempted from paying any fee.
