Brynn Whitfield is worried her mea culpa won’t be enough to repair her relationships with her costars.
During the final installment of The Real Housewives of New York City season 15 reunion, Ubah Hassan finally got her chance to confront Brynn after she falsely accused her of knowingly calling her a “w—-” after she confided in her about a prior sexual assault.
“Since the day you met me, you [wanted] to discredit me, you [wanted] to hurt me,” Ubah said, addressing Brynn. “I always feel for you, always! Ask [anyone], how many times do I stick up for Brynn? All the time! And then you go and do something [like this] and tell Racquel [Chevremont] and Jenna [Lyons] something like that?”
Sai de Silva added, “When you weaponize your experience for the downfall of a friend, it is awful. Do you not see the implications of this allegation?”

Brynn attempted to defend herself, and pointed out that she’s since retracted her initial claims that Ubah knew of her assault before making insults about her sexual history. However, the Housewives were quick to check her and claimed Brynn was trying to spin a situation that could have ruined Ubah’s reputation as “trivial.”
“I’m telling you, Brynn, this was a very wrong thing to do, very wrong thing to do,” Ubah replied. “But the good thing is, I forgive you. I’m not mad at you, but we will never go back to what we were, ever.”
Though she now wants “nothing” to do with Brynn, the model confessed that she felt “so hurt because my relationship with you was not over.”
She added, “I loved you and I wanted your friendship, but we’re done. I want to go back to when I didn’t know who the f— you [were]. That’s where we’re going back.”

With tissues in her hand, Brynn acknowledged that Ubah wasn’t privy to her assault. Her voice grew thick with emotion as she opened up about their once close relationship and admitted that the loss of Ubah’s friendship has hurt the most.
“I know she only says those things,” she said, referring to Ubah’s insults about her alleged promiscuity. “I know she didn’t mean them, but Ubah loves me. Ubah would murder the person [who assaulted me].”
After hearing her apology, Ubah crossed the stage and embraced Brynn in a hug. As the PR professional cried into her shoulder, Ubah also said she was sorry for her comments and urged her to extend the same courtesy to their costars.
“They love you,” Ubah assured her, to which Brynn replied through muffled tears, “No, they don’t.”

During an extended break, Ubah and Brynn sat alone on the couch and had a heart-to-heart conversation about their differences.
“I wasn’t trying to take you down,” Brynn whispered. “It felt that way and I’m sorry, but you know me.”
“It’s going to take me a while, maybe a long time, but I love you and I’m not wishing you anything bad,” Ubah replied. She also gave Brynn props for being brave enough to open up about her assault, noting it wasn’t an “easy thing to share.”
For the second time, the model encouraged her to make things right with the other Housewives and noted how her claims also hurt them.
“I don’t know this time,” she said of her mistakes. “I can’t undo it.”
