The Higher Education Council of Andhra Pradesh has officially announced the schedule for common entrance examinations for admissions to various courses in state universities for the academic year 2025-26. The schedule was released following a meeting with the convenors of these entrance exams, where the exam dates and application timelines were finalized. State Education minister Nara Lokesh officially posted the schedule on a social media post in X.

According to local reports the Council completed the tender process for selecting a software company to manage applications and conduct the examinations, awarding the contract to Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as the lowest bidder (L-1). This selection marks a crucial step in streamlining the examination process.
Meanwhile, the Telangana Higher Education Council has also published the dates for its common entrance examinations, with the Telangana ECET set for May 12, EDSET on June 1, LASET and PGLSET on June 6, ICET on June 8 and 9, and PGECET scheduled from June 16 to 19.
