Bihar DElEd result 2025: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the results of the Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) Joint Entrance Examination 2025. The scorecards have been uploaded to the official website, and candidates will be able to access them using their application number and date of birth.As per BSEB’s official press release, 3,23,313 candidates appeared for the entrance test, out of which 2,55,468 candidates have cleared the examination. This places the overall pass percentage at 79.01%.The computer-based examination was held across 19 centres situated in nine districts. Candidates attempted 120 objective questions worth one mark each, with a total time allowance of 150 minutes. There was no provision for negative marking. The minimum qualifying benchmark was set at 35% for candidates belonging to the unreserved category and 30% for candidates from reserved categories.Out of all successful candidates, 2,54,443 are from Bihar, while 1,025 candidates belong to other states. Officials have reiterated that the admission process will follow reservation policies and the merit list strictly. Private teacher education institutions will also be required to adhere to government regulations during the admission cycle.A merit list based on entrance examination scores has been prepared for the counselling process. Admissions to all government and recognised private DElEd institutions in Bihar will be completed through an online counselling system. Seat allotment will be finalised on the basis of examination scores, category, and the preference order submitted by candidates.

The online application window for admission to DElEd institutions will remain open from 29 November to 5 December, 2025, on the official website. The Bihar School Examination Board will publish a detailed counselling notification on 28 November.At present, Bihar has 306 DElEd training institutes, including 60 government-run institutions and 246 private ones. Together, these institutions offer approximately 30,800 seats, with nearly 9,100 seats in government colleges and around 21,700 seats in private colleges.Officials confirmed that the results have been released in accordance with the State Teacher Education Regulations and instructions issued by the Director, State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Bihar.Candidates are advised to stay tuned to the official website to get the complete details of the Bihar DElEd exam 2025.
