    NIOS exams Bihar: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has postponed exams in Bihar due to the ongoing assembly elections. The delay affects exams that were initially scheduled for November 6, 10, and 11. This change applies only to exam centres located in the state of Bihar, while exams at centres outside the state and abroad will continue as planned.NIOS confirmed that new dates for the postponed secondary and higher secondary exams will be announced shortly. Students are advised to keep track of official notifications to avoid confusion. The postponement is limited to Bihar, and other exam centres are expected to follow the original schedule.

    Exams affected in BiharThe postponement includes a range of subjects across secondary and higher secondary levels. For November 6, higher secondary exams in Physics, History, Environmental Science, and Library and Information Science were affected. At the secondary level, Painting was scheduled for the same date and is now postponed.On November 10, the higher secondary exams for Biology, Accountancy, Introduction to Law, and Military History are affected. Secondary-level exams for Urdu, Sanskrit, Indian Sign Language, and Buddhist Philosophy are also delayed.For November 11, exams in Mathematics and Vedic Studies at the higher secondary level and English at the secondary level have been postponed. Students preparing for secondary and higher secondary exams should continue their studies according to the initial timetable for other states.The institute’s announcement ensures that exams disrupted by the assembly elections will be rescheduled systematically, and affected students will receive adequate time to prepare.
