The Chhattisgarh Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has released the Round 1 merit list for the Chhattisgarh Pre-Polytechnic Test (CG PPT) 2026 admissions. Candidates who appeared for the entrance examination can now check the merit list on the official website, cgdte.admissions.nic.in.According to the official data, a total of 3,913 candidates have been included in the state merit list for admission to Diploma in Engineering and Diploma in Architecture programmes.
Merit list prepared based on multiple factors
The CG PPT 2026 Round 1 merit list has been prepared on the basis of candidates’ eligibility criteria, entrance test scores, domicile status, and other applicable admission norms.The merit list contains important details such as application ID, date of birth, eligibility examination information, CG PPT score, domicile status, merit symbol, and state rank.
Top rank secured with 130 marks
As per the merit list, the candidate securing the first rank scored 130 marks in the entrance examination.The second and third ranks were secured by candidates who scored 112 and 107 marks, respectively. The top 10 ranks in the state merit list were obtained by candidates scoring between 97 and 130 marks.

Objection and seat allotment schedule
Candidates whose names appear in the merit list will be eligible to participate in the next stage of the counselling and admission process.As per the counselling schedule, candidates can submit objections to the merit list until June 17, 2026.The Round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on June 19, 2026. Students who receive seats will be able to complete the admission process and document verification between June 20 and June 24, 2026.Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website for updates regarding counselling, seat allotment, and admission procedures.
