Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson has revealed the powerful three words her grandfather Phil Robertson told her before he died.
Phil died earlier this week at aged 79 following a battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
In a heartfelt social media tribute, his granddaughter Sadie, 27, shared photos of her “Papaw Phil” and their family over the years – including a photo from her wedding day.

“One of the last things he said to me was, ‘full strength ahead!’ Amen!” she revealed.
Her final photo in the carousel post appeared to be her holding her grandfather’s hand.

In a follow-up post the next day, Sadie said she was “overwhelmed” by all the messages about her grandfather and the impact he had on others.
“I wrote in my post yesterday that he touched ‘thousands,’ and I can confidently correct that now to millions.”

She signed off her post by remarking: “What a life of authenticity. What a legend.”
Phil was the patriarch of the Robertson family, who featured on the hit reality television series Duck Dynasty from 2012 to 2017.
The series followed the family and their multi-million dollar business, Duck Commander.
Phil was the one to invent the Duck Commander call, a tool for hunting ducks.
His death was announced by his daughter-in-law Korie Robertson on May 26.

“We celebrate today that our father, husband, and grandfather, Phil Robertson, is now with the Lord,” she shared.
“We are grateful for his life on earth and will continue the legacy of love for God and love for others until we see him again.”
Phil leaves behind four children and his wife, Kay.
Sadie is the daughter of Korie and Phil’s son Willie Robertson.

In 2019, she married her partner Christian Huff.
The couple welcomed their first daughter Honey James in 2021 and their second daughter Haven Belle in 2023.
In February 2025, Sadie announced they’re expecting their third child.
“Our hearts are so full,” she wrote on Instagram.
“Another little love joining the Huff family 🤍”
